SkippersÕ Meeting:  10:30 AM, Saturday July 14th at the Tiki Bar at Captain SamÕs

Racing Area:               The course will be in the Pamlico River between Bath and Broad Creek.

Race Format:              First warning signal will be at 12:00 noon. The regatta will consist of at least one race, with the intent of conducting multiple races as weather conditions permit.   

Rules:                              The 2005-2008 Racing Rules of Sailing and the prescriptions of the US Sailing will govern the regatta, except as any of these are changed by the Sailing Instructions.  Sailing Instructions will be available at the skippersÕ meeting, or may be downloaded from the Pamlico Sailing Club website before race day.

Eligibility:                      Boats may be entered by submitting an entry form to Randy Boyles (as noted on the form) along with the racing fees, or by delivering to Randy Boyles at the skipperÕs meeting. Competitors should possess a valid NC-PHRF rating certificate or have submitted a NC-PHRF rating application and have assigned to them a temporary PHRF rating by the Pamlico Sailing Club PHRF Representative.

Entry Form, Fees:   The fees for this regatta are $10.00. A registration form in included with this invitation, and will be available at the skippers meeting.
Safety:                             All vessels must comply with USCG safety requirements. Racing may be cancelled with sustained winds in excess of 25 knots

Social:                             A social will follow the racing, beginning at 6:00 pm. The social fee for non-racers is $5.00 per person. The social will be held at the gazebo at Washington Yacht and Country Club.

Trophies:                       There will be trophies awarded, with 3 places for 8 entries or fewer, 4 places for 8-12 entries, and 5 places for >12 entries.
